Privacy Policy

This is a plain-English summary of how PassTheBot handles your data. It's a sensible starting draft — have a solicitor review it before you rely on it commercially.

What we collect

Your email address (to create your account), the CV files and job descriptions you submit, and the analysis we generate from them. We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to count page views and key actions — no cross-site tracking.

CV data is sensitive

Your CV can contain sensitive personal data. We store it only to produce and re-display your reports and rewrites. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to train third-party models beyond what's needed to generate your result.

Processors we use

Supabase (database, authentication, file storage), Anthropic (the AI that analyses your CV against the job ad), Stripe (payments), and a hosting provider (Vercel). Each processes data on our behalf under their own terms.

Retention & deletion

You can delete your account at any time from your account page. Deleting your account removes your scans and stored CV text. You can also request deletion by emailing us.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, export, or delete your data. Contact hello@passthebot.app and we'll respond within 30 days.
